If you desire a carpet pad that is as natural as can be without any danger to the rug, the floor or the air, choose a quality recycled felt. If a non slip pad is what you need, then there is the same recycled felt combined with a natural rubber. The natural rubber is safe for all floors and does not possess the adhesive like odors of the less expensive plastic or nylon rug pads.
